4.0 a disaster for me

Post by shroyer »

I just downlaoded and installed the 4.0 Pro version and lost connection with my network and it messed up my database and I lost my mailboxes!!

I thought the network license would install and allow multiple units to operate as they did before i installed 4.0

Was there supposed to be a network version downloaded??

Now what do I do? How do I recover the lost info in the mail boxes?

Not happy!

Network version was not released at all yet.
Did you login with SYSDBA the first time?
In any case information should not be lost, just login with SYSDBA and uncheck/check users, after that you should login with users.

Look at the top of the General Discussion group; http://essentialpim.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=1
There you can find the topic concerning the RELEASE CANDIDATE, so not the final version of 4.0 where you can download this TRIAL version.
Also take care, as Max wrote the Network version 4.0 was not released at all yet.
