unavailable database

I'm testing free trial EssentialPIM Network Pro v.3.22
On the Server everything is OK.
On the Client I can't connect to the Database.
Server: 192.168.0.1
File database: R:\Users\-------\Network\network_test.epim
Login: USER1
Password: epim456

the error is unavailable database

The Server is a Windows Vista Business system with Windows Firewall stopped
The Client is a Windows XP Professional system where R: is the server path

Where am I wrong?

Hi,

192.168.0.1 is usually localhost. You should enter IP address of server.

192.168.0.1 is IP address of the server. 192.168.0.2 is Client IP address

Well as the first step for troubleshooting I would assign another IP address to the server and try that one. I do not think its a good idea to assign 192.168.0.1 to any machines.
