Contact Birthdays in Calendar

Post by gsf600y »

At present, the Schedule view shows the birthdays of contact 2 days in advance, when you actually click one of the preceding days.

It would be good to actually show the birthdays as actual schedule tasks, viewable all the time.

It would be good as an option "Show contact birthdays as Tasks on Schedule view".

Hope that makes sense!!

I agree with getting it to display in the calendar as a task but provide it in a way it doesn't interfear with exclusive tasks. Also might be good to include anniversarys in the same concept as birthdays since they are in the database to. We can sort birthdays and anniversarys in the contact list but the default appears to be by y/m/d. Could this be broken out to allow a sort by m/d ?

A lot of good ideas for this item, see discussion at viewtopic.php?p=628&highlight=#628 too.

Birthdays as Tasks

I'd rather have it be a task or calendar item as well. That way I can set a reminder of it, or not, depending on the contact.
