12.2 Auto-Fix - Only Me?

This morning with 12.1.4 I kept getting - Not Responding - when EPIM was opened and the Loading Popup Box for Accounts showed -- No Internet -- then it appeared to try to keep loading. Internet Surfing was Normal......
THEN I saw a Popup that -- EPIM could not Automatically Check for Updates and I would be directed to a Download Page. That page produced the 12.2 Link .... which after clking the EXE on my desktop seems to have FIXED these issues.
Am I the early beneficiary of a known issue and its Admin-provided Fix, or did the App just repair itself?
