Could you please refrain from using pictures in place of text?

As for the suggestion, thanks, noted. However, there are currently no immediate plans to implement something like this, unfortunately.

i allready pointed that out, that if you have some critical appt, like victor said, they should be shown at the top of epim.today.
i had some important depending appt that had to be handled like victor said - canceled or rearanged, and it was maybe two weeks ahaed.
we should implement it at least as activate by user, to show on very top of epim.today critical appt with custom preview lenght. it would show the appt of the categories you choose for a choosen horizon of time, critical, healt or dues, etc.
i'm not sure victor means the same area i think, or even smartphone app.
like you can missuse the top area of single day, for important things, as set them as all-day, you need this also in epim.today.
one could talk about the position and if shown by default, but the need and importance is strongthen by victors post, or do you want to pay possibly hundred(s) for things you not even used, like missed health appt.
not only us, also in eu they try to charge you for missed doctor appt!
but its by far not the only thing in life!
i know people get even in essential financial troubles because of such missing feature!
sorry for all the ! but this is one of the 3 or 5 essential features i miss here!
another very essential is a desktop clock in front which can show and steering epim.
i hope we can start to implement first drafts of it very soon, as its really time.
you could push on the pole position if you had this two options!
Who Doesnt Want to have a convinient positionable desktop clock helping him not going under with other windows and to simply steer all, hm the most.
the threads are:
'Extreme Efficient & Functional! Desktop Clock as Control Center!'
https://www.essentialpim.com/forum/view ... hp?t=39078
AND like allready said and pointed the HUGE PROBLEM here:
'VERY URGENT!!! How To put unaproved Appointments on very top in EPIMtoday?!'
https://www.essentialpim.com/forum/view ... hp?t=39089
thx

hi admin,
i hope you get the importance of what i and victor said! it can harm your life essentialy if you mess some health or financial things and this is the best handling this problem! i pointed it in my thread, that its crucial, it was very urgent then and this issue is life important as you can get after few of big issues personal bankrupt. what else should help avoid that, then a calendar app?!
its one of the handfull crucial things epim still misses! i hoped you got the importance of this two features and start with first draft of it in the next version(s), but sadly nothing happened like half a year!!! exactly 4months if you want.
i would also add a show this appt under epims desktop clock, by default or mouse over, as this is most essential like you possibly dont use a smartphone or cellphone at all. some try to avoid for their health, even an ex top football manager in first league/division top club. not only we very small people.
victorparkerpim,
i would prefer it over the appt list in epim.today, like better in view, dont use anniversaries and added many mini calendars on the left for coming feature creating appt from mini calendar and quick going to some.
please use normal text, like i get it in my presetted size and color!
thx

A possible workaround is that for each appointment that is critical, fill out the "Reminder" field when created. Then, use the "Reminders Window" feature to see how many days until each of those critical appointments remain.

I would like to see a filtering option added to the "Reminders Window", for example. for categories. Say I have a category called "Medical Appointments". If I invoke this filter, I would see a list of only all my medical appointments and the days left before I go to them. An additional filter option would allow only to those upcoming medical appointments that I have set a reminder up, or that have no reminder set up or just show all whether they have reminders set up or not. This offers an option to view appointments in a list, not a graphical calendar approach. With such a list, I might want to print it or export it. This then becomes a handy planning tool. This filtering by category is also important if, as in my case, I have 35
categories with reminders, I can decide which of those I want to work with in the reminders window.
PC Desktop: Window 11 Pro, 34 inch 4K monitor.
Cell phone: AT&T FirstNet Samsung Galaxy Z-Fold 6, Android 14 - linked with Garmin Fenix 6 Pro wrist watch and Fitbit Sense wrist watch.

a desktop clock would be even better. its small and has very much function. i explained it.
you could attach the critical appt under it, like seethrough level and/or by mouseover.
reminder window could be a temp solution to not get into trouble till...

insane idea and great for everyone:
positionable element 'critical appointments'
which per drag&drop positionable over other appt in epim.today or over/under tasklist, or over mini calendar if you want.
i would propose the position over the appointments list in epim.today, but movable would be even greater.
thx

i would even put it on the left of the appt list in epim.today, so i shrinked the left menu bar.
this way it would not shorten the actual appt preview.
this would huge improve it and keep my strategy to let/keep most important things above/on top, and focus on top line.
but drag&drop would make sense for customization and improvement.
the possible best position for me would be over or under the minicalendars in epim.today, so i could direct drag&drop on new date if only date, but no time, change. i spanned 4 columns of mini calendar for covering a year.
i now only have to choose between above or under it, practice will show/decide...
lets jump direct after these final release to the most important, like that, more kanban columns, task limit and digital clock as control center, steering wheel and info point!
some less annoying and breakings are the theme and single digit selection.
thx!
