Important! Handling with Database. Preventing Unnecessary Dataloss

hi admin,
i'm desperated to open/restore MY DATAbase!
why doesnt epim open my database?
and why doesnt it ask if you want to create a new db if opening older?
we need other handling of users data.base!
its a very needed behaviour!
some need to use older vers, as the dark theme is much to bright, the very white text the most!
and no chance to adjust or, even better, follow system theme/settings!
