Going to Months ahead, making Appointments.
When we are making appointments many times it is months in the future and time consuming to go to the right place in the normal way.
Could we have a smoother and faster way to do that? Click the # and you are there.
The numbers could begin with the current month # and end with the month # twelve months ahead.
March "3" 4 5 6 7 8 9 10 11 12 1 2 You could always know which month you were in by looking at the first number.
I usually work from the Month view but this could used in other views.
The first day of the month would always show in the first week of the month.

What do you consider the "normal way"? Are you aware that clicking on the month name opens the Go to Date dialog?

nice idea, you can for now activate the old month calendars in epimtoday.
on notebook you can put 3 or 4, on monitor possibly double or triple.
one can jump thru it to the wanted month, sadly cant work with it directly, like create by right click with choosen date or ...
or select time spans by shift+click begin and end of holidays, etc.
or right-click menu choosing menu point 'first day', 'last day' of appointment.

i would prefer also this idea...
a 6 digit element (xx.yy.zz) on top of all modules to choose jump-to-date, next to it calendarview icons and 'go' button.
you choose date and calender view and click go!
i will put a suggestion on.
i would also prefer to open calendar view in seperate window to keep actual appointments in nice epimtoday view and also could quick use the added modules in epimtoday if get a brainstorm, etc.
sometimes you get someting inbetween, which needs to be done first.
i also need a addable notes module or do you say sidebar, in epimtoday to directly/quick note.

Go To Date is the normal way to go to another month and I had forgotten about the Ctrl+G that does the same thing.
The "Go to Date" menu works fairly well if you totally understand how it works but it takes at least three clicks to get where you want to be.
It would be great to click a Month # like 7 for July and be there with one click. I can live with it the way it is.
This is not a "have to Fix" it's only a suggestion.

Another quick way to switch to another month is to click the month name on the small calendar located below the list of calendars on the left. This should allow you to select the desired month with one fewer click than using the "Go to Date" option

Clicking on the Day of the small desired Month eliminates all of the extra mouse clicks. "That is beyond amazing"

you can also have them in epimtoday, view->sidebars, as said above, if use monitor very few. (EDIT. correction, read next sentence).
widen the window, you can get more small calendars.
