"Select parent note" does not work.

Often when creating a new Note the "Select parent note" does not work.
Clicking on select parent note, drop-down menu does not appear and sometimes it appears blank.
No error message.
Closing and restarting Epim does not change anything.
Restarting the computer fixes the problem for two or three days.
This has been happening for a few weeks.

This is a screen shot when it happened.
Everything works as it should except nothing happens when you click the "select parent note".
The Blank drop-down window hasn't appeared lately. It stays in this condition until the computer is re-started.

Thank you for sharing the screenshot however, it does not provide much information, unfortunately. Will the text on the "Select parent note" button change its color when you hover your mouse cursor over it?

Didn't notice any color change when hovered over it.
There was a slight motion of the text "Select parent note" with a mouse click.
I'll watch for a color change the next time it happens.

It just happened!
The text turns blue when hovered over. I also got an error message this time.

Could you please check if you can reproduce the problem on a new test database? We are facing challenges reproducing the issue on our end.

New Database does not help.
It only happens every two or thee days and sometimes longer.
I've not restarted my computer, if that could be used to help in some way.

This morning the "Select Parent Note" drop-down does not work. No error message today.
I found that when clicking the bottom right corner edge of the screen it shows the Note Menu behind the Epim Screen.
The drop-down "Select Parent Note" window works on the Desktop view.

When I use Windows+D to show the Desktop view the drop-down "Select Parent Note" window does not work.
