Subject of events over 2 lines?

Using month view in calendar, I wonder whether there is a possibility, to have two lines. One for times and the second for name of event.
Now the space for event name is rather tiny on my notebook-screen, because signs for recurrancy/remembering and start-time use up much space.
Possibly hiding weekends might help also (where?)
