Convert function with retention of the date

Post by aurio »

I use the “Convert to task/appointment” function quite often. It would be very helpful here if the date and time were included (if entered). At the moment the current date is applied.

For example, if I convert an appointment March 23, 2024 8-10 a.m. today into a task, the current date/time is used.

But maybe I'm using EPIM unusually here and the function is used much more often as it is currently (current date)? For my EPIM use, adopting the date/time - if available - would definitely be much better and more effective.

Thank you for the suggestion. We will consider implementing it. Does it only relate to an Event -> Task type of conversion?

Well, I only use the event->task and task->event functions. In my case, the dates and times should be adopted. So actually be CONVERTED.

I don't have any other use cases, at least at the moment. I'm still discovering new features and uses of EPIM :-)
