Optionally enable display of the days of the week

In the tasks it would be helpful to decide for yourself whether the days of the week are displayed or not. When you create a task, only the date and time are requested and the day of the week is automatically added. This is not always desirable for the way I work. It would be nice to be able to determine these yourself.

In contrast, when I add fields with dates myself, only the date is always displayed, never the day of the week. However, this cannot be used to calculate the duration of the task (as a workaround).

This behavior is a little inconsistent. Here it would be great to have an option - ideally per task group or even individual task - to decide for yourself, similar to the calendar when displaying the calendar week.

Did you know you could change how the date and time are displayed in Tools->Options->General? Look at the "Date and time formats" section there. I hope that's what you were looking for. Thank you!

Yes I know the date and time setting but thats not what I am looking for.

Take a look at the sample pic. COMPLETED ist without week days, and I have found no option to ENABLE it. START TIME is with week days, but there is no option to DISABLE it.
Duration is only shown when start and due time are filled. So if I build two own fields like "START" and "COMPLETED" without the week days, I have no option to show the duration.

Or have I missed options somewhere?

So, your suggestion is that the same date/time settings should be shown for the Completed field as well?

It would be ideal for me if I could freely choose for each date column whether the days of the week should be displayed or not, depending on my needsdepending on my needs. Regardless of whether it is a predetermined column from EPIM or one I created myself
