[11.8.2/Tasks] Still no (SHIFT+)TAB; HTML

Post by littlebigman »

Hello,

In 11.8.2, I'm stil experiencing two issues in Tasks:
1. TAB and SHIFt+TAB don't work to go back and forth between title and body
2. In body, text that happens to be URLs are turned into HTML. Is there a way to prevent EPIM from doing this?

Cheers

1. Please update to the latest EPIM version 11.8.3 and see if the problem still persists. We couldn't reproduce it with EPIM 11.8.3 on our end.
2. When does it happen? How could we reproduce it?

1. I did, and SHIFT+TAB still doesn't switch back to title once in body: It just adds tabs to the body.

2. Not sure how it occurs. Didn't after adding a new task and syncing with Android. I'll report back if I figure it out.

FWIW, Microsoft Windows 10 Pro, version 10.0.19045 N/A Build 19045.

Shift+Tab works fine on our end. However, we will investigate to identify the issue here.

Might be because I turned off most shortcuts in Tools > Options > General > Shortcuts, as they interfered with another app that runs in the background. Which one could it be?

You can check if resetting the shortcuts to their default settings by clicking on the button with the corresponding name resolves the situation.

Yes, I did look, but I don't see which button might fit that feature. Nothing obvious.

I meant: Which item in the list might handle the (SHIFT+)TAB feature to switch between title and body.

I obviously don't want to re-enable all the shortcuts, since I disabled them because they interfered with another application.

None of the items in the list include the Shift+Tab shortcut, which is a common one and is not included anywhere.

I clicked on "Reset to default", created a new task, typed a title, hit TAB to switch to the body, hit SHIFT+TAB to go back to the title… and the caret stayed in the body where it added a TAB.

The mystery remains
