Make child note a copy of the parent note.

A check box to make a child note an exact copy of the Parent Note.
This could be a one-time copy or make check box sticky for each new Note.
I think this would be good when using Templates.

Why not use the copy-paste option?

Copy and paste is a fairly slow process and too many clicks.

I wouldn't say that opening a notes editing dialog window, enabling a checkbox there, and applying the changes would be a quicker method.

Additionally, users will certainly wonder why this option is present when creating a new note, which is still empty at the time of creation. So, while the ability to quickly duplicate an existing note might be useful for some users, it would need to be implemented differently than shown in the image above.
