Show Weekday in date-Fields (like Outlook)

Hello there,

I have been using Microsoft Outlook for many years an I'm trying to switch to EPIM.
The main reasons to switch are
1. that EPIM is portable and I like the thought that it will be easy to port when I buy a new computer
2. the integated synchronization with die Andoid app

I'm still using Outlook AND EPIM and I'm still on the free version of EPIM, because there some things that are so much easier in Outlook.

So I want to suggest you to show the weekday in date-fields. I'm adding a screenshot of EPIM and Outlook.

I would also like to suggest you the possibility to view date-fields as one single field with the possibility to copy the entire date (inc. the weekday). Screenshots also included.

Thank you for the suggestions. We will try to address the first one in one of the next EPIM versions. Regarding the second suggestion, could you please provide more context as to why you would need to select and copy the entire contents of the field at once? Thank you!

Hello,
I'm using some of my tasks as a kind of progress-statistic for e.g. my weight.
In outlook I can copy an paste day and date and note the corresponding value.
In EPIM I have to write day and date 'by hand'.
Please se the attached screenshots.

PS: I had the idea of another and easier possibility: An option do insert day-and-date via right-click-menu of the mouse in tasks and notes

Thanks. Did you know you could use the Ctrl+Space shortcut to insert date/time everywhere within EPIM?

Hi, although I have the standard shortcuts, Ctrl+Space only inserts the time (e.g. 15:30).
I found no place where I could change this from time to date+time.

This can be changed in Notes by clicking on the "Insert date and time" button on the toolbar and selecting the appropriate format.

Thank you that my first suggestion was realized in the latest EPIM-version.
I like it very much to see the weekday in the date field.

I went to Extras - Einstellungen - Allgemein (Tools - Options - General).
The date format with the weekday was not in the combobox to select, but I could enter it manually.
I'm very happy now
