Import pst file with the tool EPIM-Outlook Sync

First of all, I run the Dutch version, so I have to translate and learning English was in 1960-1965.

At internet, I found this solution:
you can use File-> Import-> Outlook menu, or File-> Synchronization->...

Doing this, I got the message, that import is not possible with Outlook 64bit.
So I ended at the website EPIM-Outlook Sync.
After downloading, installing and running this program, I have to fill in:
- Right : Outlook PST file -> automatic the path of my PST file ? -> the filename I see is TEST.EPIM in Appdata\Roaming\EssentialPIM PRO
- Left : Local database -> automatic the path of my database
Now I want import my Outlook data in EPIM, so it seems to me, that must do this with the button <<
The sync was very fast, but after opening the mail program, nothing is imported.
Also the sync with my backup pst file had the same results.
So, what is going wrong ??

Sorry, I have made a mistake:

- Right : Outlook PST file -> automatic the path of my PST file ? -> the filename I see is TEST.EPIM in Appdata\Roaming\EssentialPIM PRO
- Left : Local database -> automatic the path of my database

- Right : Outlook PST file -> automatic the path of my PST file or the path of my backup pst file ?

What type of data are you attempting to import from Outlook into EPIM? To verify if the desired data types are selected, you can navigate to Tools -> Options in EPIM-Outlook Sync.

All options are enabled, but also when aenabling only tasks, then I see very quickly slider from left to 33% and then the message synchronization is complete.
Seeing this, I suddenly remember, that I also saw 33% when I tested thunderbird, also this synchronization ended by 33% hanging.
May be my pst file data is not 100%, but how to revify?

If you are certain that you have selected the correct PST file, I'd request you to take a screenshot of your folder structure in Outlook, specifically for tasks. Please attach the screenshot to your next post. This may help us further understand the issue. Thanks.

Yes, I have checked the path with Outlook.
Starting the Sync program and chssing at the right Outlook PST file, I see the same path as Outlook is showing me.
I did also a verification with SCANPST.EXE, a program of Office.
This program found errors and correct this errors.
But the sync program is still very fast with the Synchronisation complete.
To test the sync program, I removed the contacts in the mail program and with Tools I selected only the contacts and did the sync with button <<.
And yes, now I see my contacts again in the mail program.
But is it possible that I misunderstand the option Tasks, I expect that with tis option I got all my Outlook mail messages in EPIM: IN, OUT, SENT, DELETED.
So is this my misunderstanding and is, where I am looking for "messages", not possible with the sync program?

- EPIM does not import mail from Outlook.
- My answer relates to installed version of Outlook. "EPIM- Outlook Sync" application is not able to import emails.
- It is a real pity that EPIM cannot import the Mails from Outlook 64 Bit.

My conclusion, if this is still so, then I have spent many hours for nothing.

EPIM wouldn't import Outlook emails as you can always add your IMAP or Exchange account in EPIM, and it will retrieve all your emails directly from the mail server.
