Microsoft Teams - Can't copy from ePIM and paste into Teams

Since many versions now, I can't copy notes with text + images, from ePIM into a Microsoft Teams chat. I don't now if it's ever been possible (?)

I have to use Word as a "middleman".

My workaround is as follows:

• copy from ePIM and paste into a Word document

• copy from Word and then paste it into the Teams chat.

Does anybody know what's at fault here?

Does it relate to any kind of text that you copy from EPIM, or does it only occur when images are also included in the text?

I made the same observations as GleGlas and for me it only occurs for pictures.
Steps to reproduce the effect:
1. Mark the picture included in a note by left mouse button click
2. Copy the picture to the clipboard with Ctrl+C
3. Go to a Microsoft Teams Chat
4. Ctrl+V does not paste the picture into the Chat
But if you switch to Word instead then Ctrl+V to paste a picture from a Essential Pim Note works as expected.
