I have my settings so that I am supposed to be notified "when a reply is posted."
However, I don't get any emails. I have to go to the forum and see if there's a badge on the notification bell.
On other forums that I frequent, I get email notifications.
Am I missing a setting? Does someone out there know what's happening?
Thanks...

Re: Not receiving forum messages...
It appears that your email provider is blocking emails from the EPIM Forum due to certain policies. If necessary, I can send you the precise error message.

Here you go (I intentionally masked parts of your email address):
Code: Select all
<bobma****@z****.com>:
136.143.191.23 does not like recipient.
Remote host said: 541 5.7.1 Mail rejected due to antispam policy
Giving up on 136.143.191.23.

Re: Not receiving forum messages...
Thanks...
Will mail always come from the ip address 136.143.191.23
Who would the "from" be?
Also, what would the sending domain be?
I'm going to try to set up a whitelist, but it may not pass their global spam filters.

The whitelist feature in your account only applies to your account and does not override any global policies set by your email provider. The sender email address is "EPIM Team" <admin@essenti**im.com>.

Re: Not receiving forum messages...
Thanks for all the information. I use zoho.com for my mail provider and they were able to show me how to set up filters that get applied before their global filters. Now I am receiving messages properly because I was able to whitelist the email address.
Thanks again!

If you checked the spam box and it's still nothing all you can do is check the mail police and make sure nothing there is blocking the messages.bobmac1547 wrote: ↑Fri Apr 14, 2023 11:06 pm I have my settings so that I am supposed to be notified "when a reply is posted."
