IMAP IDLE Problem
I am on EPIM 11.2.5. I have been a customer for years now and I have been having this same problem for the same amount of time. Email messages on GMAIL and Outlook servers are not downloaded from the server unless I click on the Inbox for each account. In order to receive emails automatically I have to set the accounts to periodically do a send/receive. I have read many posts in this forum regarding this issue but I can't seem to find a resolution. Can you help me in clearing up where this issue stands?
Thank you.

Re: IMAP IDLE Problem
Forward us the mail log file please next time this happens. The file can be found here: Tools->Options, "Logs Folder" and its filename should start with "Mail".

Re: IMAP IDLE Problem
OK I have the log.
I sent an emaul to Gmail and it sat in the Gmail queue. When I clicked on the 3 Day Blinds folder in Epim and then INBOX it was sent to my inbox in EPIM.

Re: IMAP IDLE Problem
Thanks for the log, will check the issue out.
EDIT: I assume you do have the IDLE support option enabled in the account settings?

Re: IMAP IDLE Problem
I would like to clarify: This is a known problem and there are many posts relating to it. It seems EPIM does not support IMAP PUSH. This would allow emails to be sent down when the email hits the input queue. Is this issue going to be resolved? I' ve read many and nothing seemed to be resolved.

Re: IMAP IDLE Problem
It's resolved in EPIM 11.5 Beta1. Let me know if you'd like to try that version out.
