How do I temporarily disable synchronization to Android

I have searched the forums and online for this: How do I temporarily disable synchronization to an Android or iPad device?
I have found a post from 2015 that shows it is available for Google-Agenda sync but there is no option to do this in the Android or iPad sync. Is there something I'm not seeing?
The reason I want to do this is I'm trying to analyze a sync issue and i want to temporarily disable (not DELETE) the sync on one computer and create a new sync to a different computer. I don't see a way to do this.
Good day.

Easiest way would be to delete the sync and then add it back in, when needed. There's virtually no difference whether you pause or delete sync.

Thank you for the answer. Except for the need to remember the sync parameters you had set. I wish there was a way to just suspend it. Oh well.

You normally initiate the sync process from your phone, so another option would be to not do that (or disable the auto-sync option in the app's settings, it if was enabled before).

I am aware of this and that I could just delete the sync. I want to do this because I'm trying to analyze a major sync issue. I copied the EPIM database (and relevant backups) to a second computer so I could leave the original EPIM environment intact. Hence the desire to just disable the sync to the device that is encountering the issue. But since EPIM makes that impossible, It seems the only choice is to delete the sync on the first computer. I trying to reduce the impact to the user of the first computer while I analyze the issue.

In this case deleting the exiting sync from WinEPIM would be the way to go.
