Search Order, Newest to Oldest vs. Oldest to Newest

Post by dream_weaver »

An option or a switch from the Oldest to the Newest return on a search would be excellent.

The PC version has more ways to filter and find a previous reference to copy and paste. When using the android system, the search returns a list from the oldest date to the newest date. Is it possible to add a toggle to switch the results to display from the most recent to the oldest entry matching the search criteria?

Alternatively, for search results that extend into the past and the future, set the pointer to the most recent event, closest to the current date, allowing the user to scroll forward or backward in time for the particular incident sought out.

I do most searches in Calander. They get listed from past date to future date starting with the oldest past date at the top of the list.
Usually, I'm looking for an event within the last couple of weeks. The order of the list is fine, but rather than setting the pointer to the oldest date, it would be nice to have it display as close to the current date as possible with past dates above and future dates below.

The PC version provides for a date range to filter the result. This would be another approach where the default, yet modifiable range could be a user-preferred setting.

Thanks again!
