It is a pity to hear that. Maybe it's not that bad for me, since I only wanted to use the whole thing once when I switch from Outlook to Epim. It seemed easier to me than going via import - export. But maybe Aston can get that under control.

Maybe I've found something....

In EPIM-Outlook Sync.ini there are these fields:
[Options]
LanguageFile=English.lng
DBType=0
LocDBFile=C:\Users\[*UserName*]\AppData\Roaming\EssentialPIM Pro\EPIM_database.epim
Server=
NetFile=
NetLogin=
NetPass=
NetRememb=0
OutlFileName=
SyncItems=29
DeleteItems=1

[Sync]
ConflictReplace=0
idCalendar=0
idList=0
The option DBType works fine. 0 is for Local database while 1 stands for Network database. I've proofed it by setting the option manually in texeditor.

But I do not find any option to store the OutlookType ('Office 365/ Exchange' Server' or 'Outlook PST File')

So I think, that maybe the reason why we couldn't access the fileselector for the PST-file.

DaxAtDS9,
Good work, as you say you may have found the answer or the root of the problem.
We just need some input from the Aston team to confirm/clarify and make the necessary change or changes!

Thank you for your email.
Outlook is 32bit although my Win10 and much other software is 64bit.

EPIM-Outlook Sync is designed to work with the 64-bit version of Outlook. However, if you are using the 32-bit version of Outlook, you can still synchronize your data with EssentialPIM through the built-in synchronization feature. To do this, go to File -> Synchronization -> Add Synchronization -> Outlook in EssentialPIM.

Have allready tried this. got MAPI error 80040111

For me it will be fine if I can 1-way sync from Outlook to EPIM. But if it doesn't work, I'll export everything manually....

Admin, Thank you for your comment re 32bit and 64bit - have made the decision to uninstall Office 20212 32 bit and install 64 bit version and see where we go from there.
Haven't had a chance to test latest Outlook sync but look forward to being able to move information back and forth as necessary between Epim\pro and Outlook.

DaxAtDS9, looks like you had Outlook opened? If so, please close it before setting up sync.

No, Outlook was closed. But it maybe, that an "Outlook Navision AddIn" has the same effect as an opened outlook.

I am leavin thread now, because for me, syncing with outlook isn't relevant any more. Sorry and good luck!
