Password protect a Note

Post by VictorParkerPIM »

Sometimes there is a need to keep something private.
Is there a way to password protect the child notes in a parent note?
To me it seems logical and fairly easy to implement, let the password prevent the parent note from opening.
If there is a way to do this, I've missed it somehow.

Thanks

What you can do is to mark the required notes as private and then enable the "Hide private items" option in Tools->Options->Security.
In this case the private notes will be hidden and password protected until you choose to unhide them.

All the years using Epim I didn't see a way to password Notes.
I wonder how many other hidden features I have not found yet.
It works great, much better than I expected.

Thanks!
