Expand all and Collapse all for single note.
When there is a Note with several sub notes, I think there should be a way to Expand all and Collapse all, Only in that note.
This would be especially useful in Favorite notes where the shortcut would go to favorites and expand all for that note.
When going to all Notes from Favorites let the shortcut Collapse all in that note.
When the parent Note is collapsed the data should be hidden in the sub note that was last viewed.
I use another program that toggles expands and collapses single note with space bar.

Thanks for the suggestion. Did you know you could use left and right arrow keys on the keyboard to expand/collapse a single note?

Adim:
Thanks, that is great. I'm sure I knew it sometime in the pass, just forgotten it.
I didn't find it under tools/options/shortcuts. I think I will use it a lot.
I still think it would be good to have CTRL+D going back to all Notes from Favorites to collapse the parent note.
EPIM is much, much better than almost anyone knows!

Re: Expand all and Collapse all for single note.
Just came here for same.
Have some key Notes that I designate as Favorite Notes. Would be extremely useful to be able to expand & show subNotes to the Favorite Notes. Currently they are hidden from view unless in the regular Notes section. I keep lots of categorized notes arranged alphabetically and this would be very useful.
Am using 11.2 beta 2.

Why wouldn't you mark sub notes as favorites, as well?

Re: Expand all and Collapse all for single note.
Could do that, but would lead to a mass of Favorites.
For example, have a Favorite folder called Plans.
Underneath that root folder Note have 30+ organized subfolders, and in those subfolders more subfolders.
Just would be good to be able to expand Favorites this way, as otherwise those subfolders are hidden from view unless ones then goes back into Notes

Re: Expand all and Collapse all for single note.
Did you know that if you also marked all these sub notes as favorites, they'd still be shown under the root note (not just as separate single notes) when switching to Favorite Notes. Does it sound like a viable solution?

On the same topic, I believe a previous version had it to where from the View menu, you could select Favorites and Notes to display at the same time where Favorites would be listed above Notes in the area to the right of the Sidebar. Don't have that option available.

Sorry, not sure I understand what you mean. What's the area to the right of the sidebar? I don't think there ever was anything like that.

The folder area. In the View menu, you can select to view Notes or Favorites but not both. I believe previous version had to where Favorites could be viewed at the top and folders below it. The View menu option now is either or but not both.

You need to enable the following option: View->Notes Filter.
