Using a Note for Templates

I want to have a Note and name it Templates and in that note have several Child notes, named Phone Call:, Doctors Appointment:, ect.
I want search bar to find Templates opened with all child notes available to select one.
Now when I search for Templates the child notes does not appear.
Can it be made to work this way?
And please let the ESC key cancel the search bar.

I'd suggest you to assign a tag to these notes, say Templates. In this case searching by a tag "Templates" you'll be able to see the whole list (child notes included).
