A feature called Forms

Post by VictorParkerPIM »

I think a Form feature would be helpful for a lot of people.
What I mean is, create a Note with something on it, like a Grid with a fixed number of rows and columns.
Have a Form Icon, possible next to the Sticky Icon.
Clicking on the Form Icon will show a dropdown Menu with a list of forms you have created.
When you click on a Form name from the dropdown menu a new note will be created with that form Name and its' contents.
I think this could be a real time saver in a lot of ways. The Grid is just an example, there could be many other ways to use it.
What does other users think of this Idea?

Let's see what others think. BTW there's going to be a new feature introduced in a version that comes after EPIM 11, which may correlate to your suggestion as a workaround. You will be able to duplicate leafs. So you can create a note where each leaf will represent a different form (sort of a template). You can then copy the leaf and paste it inside any of the notes.

"You can then copy the leaf and paste it inside any of the notes." As a new leaf to that note, or, as the body text of that note?
