Hi,

Currently, a custom date-field for Tasks in WEPIM becomes a custom text-field for Taksk in AEPIM. This means you have to type a date correctly in AEPIM, while it would be much more efficient to pick a date from a calendar "menu" in AEPIM.
Please consider changing, so that WEPIM custom date-field stays a date-field in AEPIM.

There's no such an option to set field types in Tasks, yet. Implementation of this feature will mostly depend on the demand from other users.
