No acess to EPIM

Yesterday I found PIM no longer responds to mouse clicks. I can open EPIM by clicking the icon on my Desktop, but, once in the app, mouse clicks do nothing. If an email is highlighted, I can hit ENTER and open the email. But NO clicks work when I have EPIM open on my Desktop. Can't move from Mail to Calendar, can't Minimize, nothing. In addition, if I have an email highlighted and open it.ALT-TAB to get back to EPIM, Up/Down arrows don't work to move to the next email.
Mouse and Keyboard work on every other app. How do I get EPIM to respond to mouse clicks? I've tried closing EPIM by Task Manager and reopening. I've tried opening it by Windows>"essential.' I've tried rebooting. Can't check version number because I can't access HELP

Try to "install" the portable version and run it from another location (another hard disk, USB device, another computer...)- copy your database and open it with the portable version. If that helps, than something (probably Windows or your Anti-virus programm) is blocking EPIM.

Woke up this AM. EPIM working perfectly.
