Profile Manager?

You know what would be nice? A profile manager where we could choose either a default profile or given a menu of profiles to choose from. Something like Outlook and Thunderbird offer. Is this something that the development team would consider?

What sort of info do you see stored in the profiles? As far as I understand your request, you could achieve that already by using different EPIM database files.

I'm aware that you can open different databases for different profiles, but my suggestion is that instead of first starting the program, then closing a database, and then opening a different profile database which starts the program again, the user can be given the choice of profiles when starting the program. The user could set a default profile or use a profile manager to select a profile at program start without having to open the program and close the most recent profile first.

There's no need to close the database first before opening a new one. There's also no need to close EPIM when switching in between the databases. When you open EPIM, you can click on File and select any other recently opened DBs from the list, it will be opened instantly.

I understand what you are saying. The suggestion, however, was merely to put menu of profiles on the front end of the program. It's not that important. Thanks for your response.

We just need to fully understand how each suggestion could be useful to the majority of EPIM users, hence the questions we ask and explanation we provide. Thanks!
