I just synchronized the passwords on my PC with my iPad.. and ended up with double entries on both the PC AND the iPad. It may have been that the old data was saved, and the new data for the same entries ended up creating the doubles. How do I avoid doing this every time I synchronize?
Thanks,
Lynn

Re: Synchronized, ended up with double data
Please forward us the sync log file. It can be found here: Tools->Options->Synchronization, Browse... and its filename should start with "iPhoneSync". Will be able to check what's causing the duplicate entries to appear. Thanks!

Re: Synchronized, ended up with double data
I have 4 choices when I click on synchronization: I went to add synchronization and chose 1) iphone/ipad, perhaps that was not the right choice? I also could choose 2) edit synchronization then Lynn's Ipad, or 3) synchronize all, or 4) Lynn's Ipad.
Also, please let me know how to find the file I need to backup.. I'm having a new HD put in, so I need to have the data ready. I found a file called Temp.063C98B4 Might this be the file? If not, please advise.
Thanks for your help!

Yes, got the database.... but you did not respond to the following regarding which option to choose.. thanks again.

Re: Synchronized, ended up with double data
Sync will always be initiated from the device, it will not matter what to choose in Windows EPIM.

Re: Synchronized, ended up with double data
Unfortunately the log file is empty. Is there still the one from the 16-th of March when the issue initially happened?
