Automatic update installs wrong version

Post by kb5cth »

Admin,

Twice so far, first on the 10.1.1, and just now on the 10.1.12 updates, I pushed check for updates and was told an update was available. I allowed it to update itself, but when done, version 10.0 was installed.

The first time this happened, I manually installed v10.1.1, and ran it fine. When I was notified 10.1.2 was available, I let it install and it again installed 10.0. Again, I had to manually install 10.1.2.

It's not a big deal to me, but I haven't heard anyone else say anything, so I'm wondering why only my installation seems to install the wrong version repeatedly.

Is there something in the *.ini I could change?

I run EPIM Pro portable on windows 10 home version.

This could have happened if you were on the Beta update channel. However, it should be fixed now.

Yup, I'm on the Beta channel.

By "now" do you mean within the past few hours? This happened to me about 5 hours ago.
