System-Account option for contacts not working out of the blue

Hi,
using 5.8.7 today I suddenly had no contact names in Android contacts app and Whatsapp (mobile numbers visible only).
Checked whether system account option was active in AEPIM setup. Was active!
I had to deactivate this option and activate it again, to get back to normal.
This happened not for the first time.
Just as info ...
Everything I mention comes out of my experience. I'm not an expert. Feel free to try anything I suggest ... but always at your own risk.

Thanks for the info, will check.
Android version of EssentialPIM. Keep all your data in sync!
