Navigation Pane much needed enhancement

Why can't the Calendar options be kept at the expanded state instead of always collapsing when other others are elected, for example, selecting "Trash" will have the "Calendar" options automatically collapse, and this moving around the options in the Navigation Pane.

There should be an option to keep the Calendar (or any other option) to always remain expanded instead of auto collapsing if the user so desires.

What do you think?

Such a simple option, but such a difference to the user.

PS: I've tried moving the Calendar option right to the bottom so that the collapsing and expanding doesn't affect other options, but I'm just not used to it the same as having the option for the Calendar to stay where it is.
