Setting up Global Folders for Email (pop3), crash, bug?
Hello, I have set up some users with individual email accounts and have imported some emails to their individual folders. I wanted to test "Global Folders" now, though. When setting up a 2nd email account EPIM 7.21 Business crashes, see attachment. The new account is shown in the list of email accounts, but no Global Folders can be seen. Is this a bug? Or a hint that all individual email accounts have to be removed before setting up accounts for global folders? If so, where to store the emails of the accounts to be removed temporarily? Any hints welcome! Michael

The 2nd account connected with Global Folders may be shown, but is not functional (same behavior with EPIM Pro 7.22). Removal of all email accounts of all users and starting fresh with Global Folders did not work, same error (went back to my backup).

Hello,
so far it looks like it is related to the Access Violation you are getting when trying to setup a second account.
We would need to reproduce the errors- can you tell how you setup the first and second accounts- are they POP3/IMAP, for which account you are turning the "Global Folders" option- first or second?

Re: Setting up Global Folders for Email (pop3), crash, bug?
Maxim, only POP3. First Global Folders-account by SYSDBA, then by another user. Crash on the 2nd creation of the "Global Folder"-Account. I tried also the other way round and with all email accounts cleaned and database optimized, no difference. Thanks for working on Sunday! Michael

The issue seems to be that when a new POP address is made on a user account using global folders EPIM is trying to make this dummy entry in the database:
So if you add a pop account to an account, than log out of that account and into another one and add another pop account the system tries to make that same dummy entry and can not.
So to reproduce:
Have a user besides SYSDBA
Add a pop account to SYSDBA account (using global folders )
Log out and into user1
Try adding a pop account to user2 (using global folders)
you will get this error:
