Calendar date location

Post by BPM72 »

The date for each Calendar cell is in the Top-Right corner in Desktop version (Windows 8.1) and Lower-Right corner in Android version. This is confusing, and annoying.
If I get used to having the date in the Top-Right corner when working in the Desktop version, then I tend to look at the wrong row in the Android version since in the Desktop version the events for the day are below the date, and in the Android version they are above the date!
Is there a setting to change this, and if not, why are they different?

No such setting, unfortunately but we plan to introduce it in the upcoming 3.6 version of the app.

Oh yeah! That's exactly my bone of contention too!
I just started to use the Android version and I am constantly putting information the wrong place, and reading the information wrongly,
because of the date location. I thought that I might be the only one who found this annoying but I am happy to see that at least one other person
shares my frustration!
Please fix this asap as it is driving me nuts
thanks

Thanks, will probably make this optional, though.

Thank you, thank you, thank you!...I just updated the android version and the date location has
been changed to the top right corner. Wow.!...such a quick response is unheard of these days.
However, just one niggling complaint, the number is slightly cut off at the bottom.
It might be a bug or it might just be my tablet,
However, I can live with it.
Made my day, today.
Keep up the great work

Thank you for the feedback :) Could you please mention screen size and resolution of your tablet and also attach a screenshot here? Will try to tweak the date location a bit.

Thanks.. I am using a Lenovo Yoga 8 with screen resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels.
I will try to get a screenshot to you soon, but basically just about the lower 1/8 of each number
is cut off.
