Sync attachments: EPIM on Windows with Epim on Android

I am new to this 'Forum' thing, so bear with me if I don't have the correct ettiquette, so I'll just ask my question and take it from there:

I have a problem with synching attachments between my copy of EssentialPIM Pro 5.82 on my Windows 8 Laptop with my copy of EssentialPIM Pro 3.0.5 on a Samsung Galaxy Ace 2 (Android).
Everything syncs fine but I find that attachments which I create on my Laptop do not appear on my phone.
I know I need to have an app capable of opening the attachments on my phone but I cannot even find the file there.
Does EssentialPIM Pro even transfer these files or am I missing something?
