PIM Pro Network Database's Shortcut

Post by Shiva »

Hello,

I'm working with Essential Pim at the moment. I need to share an existing database for multiple concurrent access. What I need to do it's to create shorcuts who are as simple as possible. I mean, the agent clicks on it and has access to the database without typing anything neither the server, the file location, the login nor the password.

I guess it should be possible to do so with a windows shortcut giving command lines in it to open the file, can someone help me to figure out how to do it ?

Thanks you for reading and your help !

Just as an idea- what if you modify EPIM.ini file (which can contain settings for automatic connection) for each user and replace it on their machine? In this case each user just needs to start EPIM and it will automatically connect.

Thanks for your advice, the problem is that there will be at least 3 to 5 database to connect to per user. They need to switch to these different database during the day. That's why I wish I could do such shortcuts :/ .

Thank you, suggestion noted. I am not sure what would be a popular feature.
