Network Trial Setup

Post by synaptic3 »

We're long time Chaos Intellect users but we are looking to switch to something more responsive. I recently down loaded two copies of EPIM Pro Network. The computer that will hold the database is windows XP with fbserver installed. The second computer or client machine is windows 7. I've designated the firewall ports on the windows 7 machine, however the XP machine is less intuitive, there's no incoming or outgoing listings. How can this be accomplished in Windows XP? Also, once the firewall issues are addressed will the software allow full capability to test it for our needs?

XP with SP3 has an extensive Firewall which allows for port setup. For detailed instructions on how to open 3050 and 3051 on a particular machine, I think you are better of with Google.
Trial version will allow 1 simultaneous connection for testing. If you need more, I can make you a trial key for 15 days for 3 users.
