Windows 7 computer should be the server and database, windows xp computer the client.
I have installed on both computers epim 5.x network and no more steps.
When I try to connect the client to the server, where epim is still running, I receive the error message that a connection is not possible because epim is running.
What are the missing steps I must do? Any ideas ?
Greetings
Joachim

Re: Installing network
Please read help File: http://www.essentialpim.com/help/connec ... verhhh.htm
and if still does not work, post screenshot of your connect window (where you enter the path)
Most probably the path to database is incorrect:
Important: database should be on the same machine as the Firebird server. EssentialPIM does not use file sharing, so don't use shared or network paths. Always use absolute path to the database, like: G:\database.epim
