Error while unpacking program, code LP5....

Hi,

Since today I have error: "Error while unpacking program, code LP5. Please report to author" on EPIM PRO4 (and 3 as well) during startup.

I worked on EPIM PRO yesterday without problem.
Unfortunately this computer is in network and is not possible turn off antivirus OfficeScan (antivirus is automatically enabled after switch off)

Have you any ideas?

Usually this error occurs after incomplete download. Just try to re download and re-install EPIM. Otherwise, some other software is the cause of it (maybe, antivirus)

Installation is OK. I worked on this program before. And to be sure I have reinstalled it again from fresh download.

How to monitor what is the problem? Which program is crashing EPIM PRO?
Unfortunately I can't kill my anti-virus (when I kill all processes and services - anti-virus is rebooting)

If it is antivirus that is causing the error- they have to fix it. Means they are falsely detecting EPIM as virus.
So far this is the first report of this kind for a very long time, which leads me to believe something is wrong with your setup, but I am not sure what. The first step would be to disable antvirus for a test, but you can't do that.

Hi,

problem solved,
I have opened system (winXP) in safe mode and removed almost all start up elements using SPYBOT (there was Microsoft malware remove tool or something similar)
Now is ok.
