Where exactly is this option? In each column RMB menu?

In each module where you can display items in columns, right-click on a column header to see the new option.

Thank you, I knew that and asked because it simply doesn't work, so thought there is another setting.

I have it turned on, and still cannot work, have to manually set the width.

After the update to 12.2.1 it doesn't work in one DB.

With 12.2.1 / build 1042, the new option to prevent column resizing seems to work on my side.
Thanks to support/developement unit for making this possible and to make tables usable again.
Hopefully no problems will occur again, as to this, because this has been a very frustrating "feature".

Now at last, with 12.2.1 the automatic adjustment of the column width is a thing of the past. We now have an “almost” full view of our data again.

Only the double-click on the right edge of the column header no longer sets the optimum width but reduces the column width so that the content is no longer readable - see video.

It's amazing what a feature like the automatic adjustment of the column width can cause as a consequence and thus reverse the effect.

Didnot realise.
That is an important feature ... please let this still be possible!

It appears the issue is limited to the Category column. All other columns should be functioning normally.
