I'm sorry. I neglected to pay attention to that. I should have. I know it is important. I do think if it was unusual, I would have remembered, or it would have risen to a "This is important" status, like the one time it crashed when I was working on another screen (window), in another program. Normally, this occurs when I move from one folder to another within EPIM, but I didn't pay attention this time.

Another attempt to address the issue has been made in the following build:
https://www.essentialpim.com/download/t ... ull121.exe
This build is based on the upcoming 12.1.3 version release, which includes a number of other fixes that contribute to increased stability. Please let us know how it works for you. Thanks!

Many times when someone thinks Epim crashed, it's really not a crash, it's locked because of a pop-up
menu behind the current window that requires click OK or Cancel before Epim is active again.
In these cases you can click on something else in the taskbar and see that it is not a crash.

Nope. You'll notice that the error message actually says, “Program terminated”. Termination is the clue here. but you are right, that can occur. It did on one of the crashes I had. However, that one prevented me from clicking anywhere else, so I couldn't bypass the obvious window over window issue.

Thanks for the suggestion though. I've been caught on that before.

We are not aware of any instances where a pop-up gets stuck behind the current window. If this is something you are experiencing, please provide a list of steps to help us reproduce and address the issue. Thanks!

I haven't had this problem in quit a while, but it happened yesterday.
You never know when it's going to happen and I can't reproduce it.
Re-starting the computer fixes it until the next unknown time it happens.
It usually happens when I click the the Help Menu Icon.
The help menu pops up for about one second and hides behind the Epim window.

Crashed again today. I was in the email module and moved to a folder with a new spam email in it.

It's been about a week. I'm using the January 20 test version. Second test version I've tried.

Epim error terminated.jpg
This is my latest error, with program termination. This 2nd test version seems much worse than the one before it. I had another crash yesterday. In this case, I was deleting a spam email.

Here's a wild idea, since this isn't happening to others and my computer is very stable, perhaps it is something else. I use NextDNS to stop many DNS bad requests. I get spam. Is there any way that a link in an email is getting blocked so it isn't coming back as expected and EPIM isn't recovering? So, for instance, in this one, I had to click on a file to delete it. Then I'm guessing EPIM tries to load all the links, but some are blocked.

Just an idea.

Today's crash was this error message.
epim jan 30.jpg
I did send the report, but after that, it got itself into a loop and repeated the error popup over and over. I was forced to close using task manager.

Is this enough? Are you getting anything from the constant posts? I'm happy to continue supplying information but might do so privately or not at all if it isn't helping. Let me know.

Is this occurring on EPIM 12.1.2? If so, please update to version 12.1.3 and check if the issue persists. If the problem continues, please provide us with detailed information, such as:
- Whether this is a one-time error or something reproducible.
- If reproducible, the specific actions that trigger the issue.
In any case, we’ll need as much detail as possible about the circumstances leading to the error. Your input should help us investigate and resolve the issues eventually. Thanks!

Another one yesterday. I'm now using 12.1.3

epim error Feb 3.jpg
For the first time, this one did at least 3 errors, each covering the previous one so I couldn't just move one. I can't remember what I was doing.
