Conversations View
Hello,
I am evaluating Essential PIM (Windows version).
When I try to switch to "Conversations" (View -> Conversations) nothing happens except that the subject line moves right 1 or 2 chars.
My email is based on Google Applications. Do I have to set something in the Gmail settings (web)?
Best regards,
Marian Yordanov

Hello,
you do not need to do anything else, EPIM should make Conversations of related emails. Looks like EPIM does not find related email so far. Please wait for EPIM to receive more email.

Re: Conversations View
Hi,
can you please export a couple of emails using (File-> Export->) and send them to me (PM on the forum would be fine). You can also write an email to yourself and reply to it a couple of times- would be fine as test emails.
Also, just in case, send me a screenshot of your Inbox with 'Conversations' switched on.

Hi Max
I am experiencing the same issue.
I exported 3 test messages to myself, put them in a zip file and sent them to you in a PM, but the message is stuck in my forum outbox

Re: Conversations View
Please check with folder that has more emails. So far the feature was working fine for other users and there is no reason to believe otherwise.
The fact that emails with same subject are not treated as conversation is fine, as there are more parameters taken into account with real conversations.

Re: Conversations View
I did try it in a folder with many messages - the messages I sent you were just samples.
I have sent you a PM with 2 screenshots of one of my inboxes with conversations on and off.
Maybe I'm missing something but I can't see any difference apart from the slightly larger gap in front of the subjects that was mentioned before.

Re: Conversations View
I can't get this to work. I replied to an email but I can't see that reply next to the original email.
I've turned on View/Conversations but there's no change to what is displayed.
Using 10.2.1

Re: Conversations View
So far conversations only place incoming messages close to each other.
Android version of EssentialPIM. Keep all your data in sync!
Re: Conversations View
Which of course makes it *not* a conversation view! Mystifying...
Thanks for your help, though.

Re: Conversations View
Depends on how you look at it Although, we got your point, I think the feature will be expanded in the nearest future to include sent messages, as well.

At least it's reassuring to know that they have some good "ideas people" on the case...
