Disable Title Popup When Hovering Over Notes

Post by bobkoh2009 »

Can I disable the pop-up when hovering over Notes items? Similar to the HTML 'title' option.
Currently using EPIMProPort30, but not new to this version.

Thanks

Hello,

currently you can not do this, but we will offer that later on in some future version.

Hi, asking the same question. I love to hate the BiG popups.
They distract me. I get pist every time.
I have previously posted this problem and got very disapointed when I installed the new version 3
and realised that the problem wasn't solved.

I'm suprised that I found so few comments about this in the forum.
Don't people use the Notes? or could they block the brain seeing the popups? or do they just don't care?
I can't.

And I can't understand the benefit of the popup.
It's hard to read, the height cover sometimes the hole screen and it seems to pick any leaf randomly.
Is there ANY workaround ?

Please let me be able to disable the popups !
I like the Notes structure, and is my main reason to use EPIM.

Mouseovers in Notes are quite beneficial to users, as they show immediately the content of all Leafs in each Note (without the need to click into Note and into each Leaf)

Maybe, I find them to be more of a nuisance.
Personal opinion.

There is no such feature currently.

Just a bump for this...
I like the popups when they're needed... being able to hover over a node while you're still in the current note can be handy.
HOWEVER... if you're like me, with a slightly cluttered work area, the mouse may drift while you're working (typing in the current note, etc.), and then you have an un-intended pop-up that won't get out of the way until you disengage from your productive work and move your mouse.
It CAN be annoying.

Another vote for annoying!
Can't they be made optional (on or off)?

Something I've noticed with the newest version (7.1, 7.11) - if you have another window covering / partially covering EPIM, and your cursor passes over the navigation pane, you get the hover-pop-up - AND IT DOES *NOT* GO AWAY - until you alt-tab to EPIM and move your mouse somewhere away from the navigation tree.
This is not a good thing. :-/
