Tabbed Notes, Internote hyperlinks, Comments etc. etc.
Wonderful work, really. Essential PIM is a truly useful software.
Here some suggestions.
1. The note section is good but i would like to see added a tabbed organization of the notes. Every tab should have its tree of notes. This is useful to categorize better the genre of the notes (I.e. i can create a Tab "Office", a tab "Home" and a tab "Entertainment" and in each of them i will have a different "notes tree") (see Tranglos Keynote software)
2. I would like to be able to create hyperlinks between notes, and Events or calendar days or contacts
3. Every note should have a special side panel for comments where i can write text linked to a special position of the note. Or "baloon" comments to link to a position inside the note (like Word 2003 does)
4. You should add a button to hide/show the Right and Left side panels
5. What's about a better clock? That one is so.. cold. insert it in a frame, or use an analog one. The space in the right panel is so empty!!!
6. Add a RSS/News feed and blog explorer.
7. Since i have EssentialPIM always running in my tray area, if you will add to it an e-Mail checker and notifier i will uninstall my actual email checker.

Well, i think this is enough.

That's a good idea, and is being discussed. This feature might appear in some of the next versions.Sunemesis wrote: 1. In To-Do list already, but can't promise quick implementation- quite complex feature.Sunemesis wrote: 2. I would like to be able to create hyperlinks between notes, and Events or calendar days or contacts
Interesting suggestion, thanks! Will insert into To-Do list.Sunemesis wrote: 3. Every note should have a special side panel for comments where i can write text linked to a special position of the note. Or "baloon" comments to link to a position inside the note (like Word 2003 does)
Scheduled for major interface change.Sunemesis wrote: 4. You should add a button to hide/show the Right and Left side panels
There was once an analog clock...Users did not like it:)Sunemesis wrote: 5. What's about a better clock? That one is so.. cold. insert it in a frame, or use an analog one. The space in the right panel is so empty!!!
No way, sorry. We are doing a good PIM, not bloatware.Sunemesis wrote: 6. Add a RSS/News feed and blog explorer.
