Rich Text formatting not working in 6.03

Post by co997 »

Since upgrading to 6.03, my Rich Text formatting is whacked out in my emails that I write. Regardless of my default font setting, or what font I set on the page, it always reverts to Times New Roman. Hitting the <Enter> key results in a double space. I can no longer right click on a red underlined misspelled word and get a message box. Right clicking does nothing. I know that this is 2 problems, but I thought that they might be related. I am running on Windows 7 64 Pro.

Dear co997,

For the "revert to Times New Roman" and "double space" problems please refer to viewtopic.php?f=2&t=15870.

Thanks for the reply. I downloaded and installed the unannounced revision to 6.03. On my first test email, it appears that the font is remaining as specified, but the double space is still a problem. I will follow the thread and see what happens.

Hello co997,

While waiting for version 6.04 to arrive, I got rid of the problem by creating an "empty" signature block.

Tools/account parameters/edit/signature tab
Select the option "use a signature for outgoing messages"
Leave the signature block empty
Press OK

Might also work for you.
