As I am currently testing EssentialPIM for use in my organisation, I tried to install the software (EssentialPIM Pro Network-version) on our windows2008 R2 Terminalserver. After starting the programm a error-message shows up (see attached jpg).
My questions:
1. can we use the pro network version on a terminalserver at all?
2. can we use the firebird 2.5.2 Win64 instead of the embedded 2.1.5 Win32?
Thanks for answering
Lars

Re: EssentialPIM on Terminalserver
Hello,
we did not test EPIM on terminal server, but there were reports where it was working fine.
Please do not change Firebird version, as this is most likely the reason for the error you see.

Re: EssentialPIM on Terminalserver
Well, thanks for you answering, but ..I did install EPIM out of the box (the downloadfile from your website). This means that the firebird-version is unlikely to be the true reason for the errormessage (only if the firebird win32 has a isue on a windows2008 R2, which is x64 by nature).Max wrote:Please do not change Firebird version, as this is most likely the reason for the error you see.
So, my question still remeans: has someone here im Forum experience with a terminalserver und using RDP on the server.
