serious sync problem for Chinese in win7 64

Post by sansi »

After I updated to the latest version and bought a lifetime key,
1,When I try to sync FROM pc TO usb driver (portable edition), it can't been done as below:
Image
Sometimes "9I" is shown as "-9" or "9?"

2,I tried sync BETWEEN pc AND usb, it can finish, but usb edition does not show the characters correctly as below:
Image
the last word was replace by small black blocks and strange characters.

and even more

3,It seems many Chinese characters are replaced by "" which is a black block with a "?" inside.

Hope to help Solve this.

Hello,

thank you for posting screenshots.
Can we get a sample of the database BEFORE synchronization?
So that we could try to reproduce the problem. You can send it to ma@essentialpim...

UPDATE:

I found maybe the problem is not SYNC but ENCRYPTION. This is what happened:

1,this is original information:

2,this is setting up password and Encryption:

3,this is what happened after Encryption (with red marks):

Noted that it happens at: 1, the last character; 2, when there are Chinese characters and English or even numbers in same sentence.
