Hi there,
Thank you for the new 5.0 release. I hoped the sync problem would be solved with the new version...
I have a database that goes on since version 3.2
When I try to sync epim to google I always recieve the status message: "An invalid character was found in text content" and the google sync doesn't complete.
Do I have to delete certain characters in "text" to let epim sync with google?
Is it possible categories are at a max in google? and some of my categories don't sync?
Is there someone who has the same problem?
How can I solve this?
How can I "refresh" my database?
Thank you!

Re: Google sync problem
What setting do I have wrong? My Goggle sync was working a couple of days ago and now I keep getting the following error message: HTTP://1.1 503 Service Unavailable
If it's a setting, is it in my EPIM or my google online account?
Thanks so much!

Re: Google sync problem
Hello,
please try using a new database to synchronize with your Google account to see where the problem is.

Hi, I have same problem (HTTP/1.1 503 Service Unavailable) today (and sometimes in the past). It is connected to sync of Epim portable 5.02 (To Do module) with Google account (tasks). I also tried new database and appointements synced properly, but ToDos showed notification "service unavailable". Can you help me, please?
Thanx
Karel

Yes, if I log into my google account /calendar module/ there I can see my tasks. These tasks are still not synced with Epim, only with my android phone. The problem with synchronisation, which I have described above, persists.
Re: Google sync problem
I thing, the sync problem is resolved (for now).
Last error notification was about something like "wrong key" and there was also label of one of my to-do lists. So, I made new to-do list, then I copied tasks from the "problematic" list to this new list, and... It worked and works still. I do not understand the basis of the sync problem, but I am glad that the problem seems to be resolved.

Forbidden means Google does not let you into the service. Most common reasons are: you are not subscribed to Google service (check by logging into online service) and wrong username/password.
