Can you reproduce that on a new database? If yes, what are the exact steps? Thanks!

Hi Max
Got a similar error on Epim Portable. Noticed yesterday on 4.0 b4 upgrading to 4.01. Reinstalled in a fresh folder and used the original DB. Problem went away. Maybe an old file didn't overwrite successfully.

Hi!

I'm having exactly the same problem after upgrading from Portable Pro 3.23, to 4.01.

I think i found the bug.

It just worked with a new and empty database.
But there is another thing, just after i disable a module, it just gives the error.
I usually disable email module cause i don't use it. So if there is a module disabled, the hyperlink just don't work.

Hope you can fix this.

Thanks

Hi!, Again,

I confirm this.

After enabling all the modules the error disappears.

So the bug is confirmed.

Waiting for the fix........

Thanks

How did you insert a hyperlink? Into which field? A detailed list of steps would be appreciated. Still couldn't reproduce after disabling couple of modules.

Hi!

I will do a guide step by step:
- Downloaded file EssentialPIMProPort4.zip
- Uncompress to "O:\Automatico\EssentialPIMPro"
- Run EssentialPIM.exe
- Insert my registration
- Choose English
- Asking to import from outlook and outlook express, and choose no.
- I have now your test.epim opened
- I'll go to calendar
- Add appointment
- Put the cursor on notes and press Hyperlink button
- Choose Item link and browse
- it shows the window to select another item
- i selected and it worked
- Now i will go to options and disabled Mail and Password modules
- again in calendar
- add appointment
- put the cursor on the field Notes
- press the hyperlink button
- choose Item Link and browse
- It gives this error

There was an error during the execution of this program.
The application might become unstable and even useless.
It's recommended that you save your work and close this application.

After this i re-enabled the all the modules and the error disappears.

So what i can understand from this is that maybe the program is search on disabled modules and because they are disabled he can't show it's items.

Hope you can reproduce this and find the bug.

Thanks
