1. Can we update manually firebird server via official site? If yes what files need to be updated? (right now there is 2.1.3 RC1 version out there)
2. Can we use 64 superserver version instead 32bit one ? (any performance increase?) if yes how to do it? (install only epim then download server from official site and install it manually?)
3. Im still lookin for more performance, right now i have around 300 contacts(with few fields like emails, home phones etc) and i really feel lag. I use lan server and clients are connected via WiFi.

Re: Few Questions
Hi,
EPIM was tested with the Firebird version it ships. But, in general, you should be able to update Firebird software. Just download distributive from official website.
The lag you have is not because of the server. It is the latency of the Network and/or closed ports on Firewall, router. Check pings from one machine to another. It should really be fast on LAN.
Then, make sure you open 3050 and 3051 on the server and ALL devices that are in between.
